A native of Northern Kentucky, Hu-Town Solo blends traditional bluegrass and americana into his own hard-hitting sound he calls “Power Folk.” He has played the local music scene with several bands including Red Cedars, Hu-Town Holler and The Shantyboat Trio. An avid songwriter, he writes songs everyone can relate to; Love, loss, revenge…and often include his adventures around Cincinnati and Ohio River life. He is known for his mesmerizing songwriting, faster than should be allowed thumb picking, and a soulful voice full of southern charm and a touch of venom. He has released 2 albums; Red Cedars “Bottom Side of Blue” as well as Hu-Town Holler “Life's a Freak.” He is currently working on a solo project to be released this year.
